At first it was great and team work was evident then management not working together and toxic toward each other and all that spill over on the employees wrongful dismissals,biased and unfair treatment its a breeding ground for chaos and torment now

The pay was decent.
Not being paid on time. Work always criticized. Employer lacks maturity and professionalism. Always questioning your job security. 1/10. Low standard office as well but the patients don’t even know what goes on behind the scenes.
This isn’t a permanent position. Get what you need from this place until you can find something stable.

Initially I thought the pay scale would get better but it only applies to management. Workload tun up but bills still deh de fi pay month end. Paycheck to paycheck.
Expectations are high and deliverables must be met. More staff needed in departments to help with the workload.

The management team for a family company is hard to deal with. You will find yourself reporting to several persons who wasnt in your job description. They will try to change your job description without you even sign off on it. They claim the business is 24hrs however they close at 5pm but expect you to answer emails and calls at any hr even if it's something that can only be fixed during regular business hrs

Sagicor Life is always up to something!!!! From events , to competitions to promotions. A lot of things to get involved with - a lot of internal development as well. Sagicor invest heavily in its sales team development. There’s also benefits that you get from the group like - mortgage , car insurance, better loan rates , company shares etc . In insurance sales - if you do well your bonus can be VERY meaningful….ie well into the Millions.
As a Financial Advisor - you eat what you kill. Insurance is not the easiest thing to sell - If you’re not careful you can go months without pay or something solid…. I’ve been in HUGE amount of debt because of poor sales months. (I’m good now ) The work load is HEAVY !! You’re doing 3+ job in one . 1) Finding the Clients 2) on boarding / selling 3) management of clients after the sales Without EXCELLENT time management trust you will suffer. You either learn & pivot or exit the system.
Make sure you’re comfortable with the idea of not earning for a month or two…or even more. Be aggressive when you start - know what you’re about and get to work ASAP! This job can be stressful but VERY life changing ( in a good way ) - learn the craft , listen to your managers and put your head down and WORK !
