Strong brands, great exposure to the FMCG industry and plenty of opportunities to learn and develop. I gained valuable experience working with distributors, customers and different areas of the business, and built relationships that I will always value.

What was challenging

The workload and pace could be very demanding, and maintaining work-life balance was sometimes difficult. There could also be a lot of competing priorities and layers of approval, which sometimes made decision-making and execution more challenging. More consistent communication, recognition and management support would improve the employee experience.

Their advice

It’s a good company to build your experience and develop professionally, but don’t underestimate how demanding the environment can be. Make sure you understand the expectations of the role and the team you’ll be joining. Your experience will also depend heavily on your manager and department.

PWC was a great training ground. The managers were very nice and supportive. You're surrounded by alot of young smart supportive individuals as well.

Definitely the working hours. You learn yes but you work HARD.

Management makes everything difficult due to lack of respect for officers and proper communication and the turn over rate for officers when reports are made usually takes long or gets ignored

Leadership does not exist.. you never know what’s coming or where the company is heading. Communication is nonexistent and because everything and everyone is so all over the place, so is your workload and expectations. Breeding ground for burnout.

I know persons that stay for years and persons that leave within just a few months. They have a high turnover and its mostly customer service. So if you must, then do it, if not, try somewhere else.

They used HR systems and platforms for communication, meetings, files, etc. So the environment felt somewhat modern but every other area was lacking. The fact that they hired me on the spot was the first red flag. Quest has an incredibly high turnover rate. The environment was utterly chaotic. They run that place like a gang/mob. And the appearance of even the building itself is disgusting. There's mold in the bathrooms and the rain came down hard one time and the roof came in...

Communication was terrible. They had no structure.

If you want a stable and safe environment to work in, Quest is not it. Quest = No Job Security.
