The knowledge I’ve gained/ currently acquiring to help others who don’t really understand this part of family security.
The workload and limited resources, if one or two person from frontline are out, it creates a domino effect
Be prepared to dedicate some time to actually put in the work.

The pay and management is what I hate. As the inventory coordinator you better not have responsibilities, you have to ensure you’re still living with your parents. Use this company as a stepping stone to a greater work environment.
I only found management challenging and based on what I’ve heard he has been this way.
If working as inventory controller, hopefully you’re a woman because men tend to get treated worse.i wasn’t treated fairly and always got the stress taken out on. Imagine being shouted at for being watching the World Cup during the World Cup but when others are doing it you’re asking the scores

They had a reasonably good management system.
The workload and work hours were cruel. Indepemdent department functions were overlooked by managers decision often times. People safety and working conditions were taken for granted. Not much understanding and leniency was shown to the works. Finally the corruption of authority that have cause imdividual to lose their livelihood was a common case.
If you consider your wellbeing, mentally and physically as well as being compensated to maintain yourself or even a family which is even work if you are not a single person, please look else where.

The workers were disrespectful and there was no room for a vibe in the workplace. Everyone was rigid and rude
Don’t take this job

This place lacks basic ethical principle. It is run by a shadow hierarchy put in place by politicians for their own purpose. Dont waste your time here.
the silent and set up culture. They could kill you and no one would speak out.
Run!

The only thing this place has over other workplace is the fact that it’s a hybrid working environment (allows work from home)
At KPMG JESS (because there is a KPMG Jamaica as well) there is an underlying toxic culture there. There is a persistent atmosphere of anxiety that seems to stem from a fear of client dissatisfaction. There are frequent escalations over routine matters, inconsistent accountability from the onshore clients, continuous rising expectations for employees, a lack of prioritization of employee requests and concerns. JESS can also come across as exploitative due to some of the mandatory requirements.
The pay is also not that competitive.

The people who'd encounter and being able to learn or improve on your skill set and other duties.
Work tasks can change on last minute, shipments if 20ft and 40ft containers that would be docked for offloading often times shows up unannounced due to poor communication from those in charge of shipments etc. Small environment which result in the area becoming claustrophobic.
You can have a good experience depending on the department you'd apply for.

The culture is a double edged sword. It’s very relaxed but you have to ensure you keep your boundaries intact. Good people work here though.
No room for growth immediately but because of the culture, it can be explored.
Don’t expect a stuffy corporate environment and also keep your boundaries firm and come there with a purpose, not recommended for more than 5 years.

Just the AC and even that was too cold.
Upper Management literally watch you constantly to find a reason to let you go so they don't have to renew your 6 month contract and won't need to pay benefits
Use it as a stepping stone. The pay for floor staff is very low, minimum wage after taxes

The people are very friendly and makes work environment lighter
Most managers are great but there are a few that are toxic.
If you looking for a soft work life, CB is not gonna be the workplace for you but if you want to feel apart of something big and not afraid to work then you might like it
